Bring a friend! Learning golf in group setting can be very beneficial!
Golf is a social game so why not learn in a social setting. Anywhere up to 12 player can learn to improve in a group setting. The group golf lesson will vary depending on the level of players. Sometimes I will get a complete beginner with a mid-level handicap player. Their needs are going to be different so I will adjust the lessons to the group.
I will cover 2-3 parts of the game and finish with a one playing lesson on our executive golf course. We will spend between 1 and 3 hours on the range, golf course, chipping green and sand bunker. The group lesson can be customized to the level of player. Depending on the length of the lesson will dictate what material is covered.
The group lesson is the perfect co-ed combination for golf. Men and women playing together and learning the game actually makes a fun friendship and networking opportunity. Invite someone you are trying to get to know in the business world. A group golf lesson will help you relax and see concentration and focus that will make a great business partner.
Group lessons vs. Private lessons
Private lessons will give you individual one on one attention. I will drill down to your exact needs to help you get better in the shortest amount of time. The group lesson is going to cover many aspects of the game. Both are advantageous and beneficial to learning golf and helping you improve. You have to choose what makes you more comfortable learning or improving your golf game.
Group golf lessons can also be less intimidating because your friends will be surrounding you. I have found teaching group golf lessons helps some people learn better because they are more comfortable in a group setting. Again it’s really up to the student to find what fits his or her needs best.
Kid’s birthday parties are great for these types of group lessons. I will set up fun games and stations for the kids to practice and learn how to play. Ages 3 and up are terrific for this type of instruction. This is something different you can do for your child and their friends will be talking about this party for a long time! Putting games are always fun and engaging. I will set-up a miniature putt-putt course on our practice putting green and they will receive prizes for finishing the course.
